Redwood City is fired up for its 121th annual Salsa Festival, on Saturday, September 21st, 2019 from noon until 8pm. Salsa music, salsa dancing and salsa tasting are at the forefront, featuring three stages with a variety of music, including Salsa, Latin Jazz and Reggae.

Our Salsa Tasting & Competition unites amateur and professional Salsa Chefs seeking fun, prizes and Salsa Glory, and showcases succulent salsa for festival-goers to sample and take part in the judging. Public tasting is from 12-5pm, but it's best to arrive early to be sure to try them all! Along with an array of salsa choices, local restaurants also offer their scrumptious fares throughout the day. This free festival also boasts public Tequila Tasting, FREE hands-on art projects, a Children's Play Area complete with bounce houses, and much more. Redwood City's Salsa Festival guarantees a fun-filled day of tasty salsa, great activities, music, entertainment, dancing, food, beverages, and a fine time for the entire family from noon until 8 pm. So bring your dancing shoes!

Special Notes

OPERATIONS
The committee will make all placement decisions for vendors for the good of the festival.
All vendors who are required to have resale numbers are responsible for collecting sales tax. Tax numbers must be included on application.

BOOTH PROVISIONS
Water and individual trash cans will not be provided.


RESPONSIBILITY
The City of Redwood City, assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or claim arising out of the participants’ acts or omissions, the applicant hereby agrees to hold the City of Redwood City harmless from any claim arising out of the applicant’s entry, acts, or omissions in said festival or any accident, injury or damage involved therein, including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs.

BOOTH RESPONSIBILITIES
All safety and fire regulations must be observed.
Each vendor is responsible for the condition of their space during and after the event.

ACCEPTANCE/SPACE ASSIGNMENT
Display space location will be on first come, first serve basis per the postmarked date on the application.
Out of fairness to the selected vendors, we limit the amount of vendors selling the same or similar products.
Space assignments, directions, and festival rules and regulations, etc., will be emailed one week prior to the event.
It is understood that submission of my application does not guarantee a spot at this event. The events committee will notify vendors via email of their acceptance and approved product menu sales once the application and check have been received.
