About This Event
The Chocolate Expo 2019 Hudson Valley is a grand celebration of chocolate, food & fun!
The festival-style event takes place rain-or-shine under a huge tent (almost 400' long!) on the Village Green at historic Museum Village in Monroe, NY, just 4 miles east of Woodbury Commons (the largest outlet center in the world) and on the same road as America's largest Legoland theme park (opening spring 2020).
The Chocolate Expo features tastings & sales of chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, cheeses, ready-to-eat foods, wines, spirits, ciders, craft sodas and much more. Entertainment includes all Museum Village exhibits of life in the 1800's, plus magic shows by Eric Wilzig from America's Got Talent, bounce house rides, face painting, children's activities and much more!
Besides the tent, we provide pipe-and-drape dividers for the 10'w x 9'd booths, but vendors do need to bring their own booth banners, tables, attractive tablecloths, chairs and wastebaskets (for your own in-booth/staff use -- we provide wastebaskets for guests).
Generators are allowed for cooking applications, but they must be quiet and smoke-free.
A very limited amount of electric will be available for specific low-wattage applications such as to run chocolate fountains or make cotton candy, but not for high-power needs or low-power cell phone charging applications (bring back-up batteries). Contact us directly if you need access to this electric service.
The subsidized booth fee does include any Health Department permits, where applicable.
Parking is available onsite at Museum Village and at the adjoining commuter parking lots for up to 1,000 vehicles!
Vendor setup will begin at 6:00am on October 27th, and you can drive your vehicle on the road around the Village Green for unloading your product inventory next to your booth, before moving to our Vendor Parking area.
