About This Event

The 2024 Western Carolinas Homebrewers Festival, put on by the Lincolnton Brewers’ Club, fundraising for Veteran Bridge Home as their benefiting charity, is looking to hold The Western Carolina Homebrew Festival event April 27th , 2024 at Untapped Territory in Lincolnton, NC.
This Festival was the first "OPEN TO THE PUBLIC” Homebrewer Festival ever in North Carolina in 2022! Previously, these type festivals were private, and exclusive only to dues paying members of Brew Clubs. In 2019, North Carolina officially passed legislature that now allows non-members to Home Brew events!

This year we are inviting clubs from all over the United States, as well as International, to come join us!

We want to invite people to this ticketed event to support not just the clubs, but also help support fundraising for a great foundation, that is based in Charlotte, NC, and holds personal ties to members of our club. We plan to hold it in the exterior courtyard area in the back of Untapped Territory and will have a gated one-way entrance/ check in table, as well as an exit only gateway. There will be food vendors, a mini-market area, and live music on Water Street, Academy Street, and Church Street, surrounding Untapped Territory. In the festival area, there will be demonstrations of different aspects of the homebrew process, as well as different techniques. We have professional craft breweries participating as vendors, who will offer a special “festival exclusive” brew, as well as wineries, and other pro adult beverage makers with festival exclusives to try. All vendors will be outside of the homebrew area of the festival, commercial brewers as well as equipment vendors.

Vote for your favorite homebrew, same some exclusive beverages, listen to some rockin' bands, enjoy some tasty food, support some local market vendors, and become a winner by bidding on some Silent Auction items, all to help fundraise for Veterans Bridge Home!

VBH mission: Stronger communities. One Veteran at a time.

Veterans Bridge Home connects Veterans and their families, in any state of transition, to the community. Through their network of partners, they help Veterans navigate employment, create social connections, and settle their families. They look at the whole Veteran and connect them to the resources needed to be successful and thriving leaders in our community.

Come join in for an afternoon of fun in support of a great cause!
