About This Event

Welcome to Strawberry Festival! Vashon Island’s 111th Annual Strawberry Festival is a celebration of Vashon’s agricultural, artistic and cultural heritage and showcases all that makes Vashon Island unique.

The Strawberry Festival has a faithful following with an average attendance of 30,000 for the weekend! A grand-parade, classic car parade, several performance stages, a variety of vendor booths, kids activities, local featured artists, and street dances are all part of the fun. Toss in a rocking beverage garden serving local spirits, pancake breakfasts and a fun run and you have an event that engages people all weekend. Because we are an island, Strawberry Festival attendees linger longer than at other festivals.

NEW FOR 2020!

By popular demand, we are extending vendor booth hours to include Friday afternoon and Friday night. These expanded hours will increase valuable selling time for vendors and allow more access for festival goers!

OFF ISLAND VENDOR BOOTH CATEGORIES:

Commercial: Manufactured goods, imported goods, and professional services.

Arts/Crafts (Off Island): Art or handmade products created by attending vendor.

Food Booth (Off Island): Food and beverages prepared on premises or as prepackaged products.

Food Truck (Off Island <25): Fee is 10% of sales (not including sales tax and tips) recorded and paid daily Friday, Saturday, Sunday at close of business. $100 up-front deposit is credited towards sales fee. $25 application fee is non-refundable. Verifiable point of sale or register receipt required.

Informational (Off Island): Includes government and political organizations providing information only. Sales prohibited.

Non-Profit (Off Island): Must provide proof of non-profit status.


VASHON BASED VENDOR BOOTH CATEGORIES:

Vashon Artist: Vashon based artists and/or handmade craft items created by attending vendor.

Vashon Non-Profit: Vashon Island based nonprofits ($150 of booth fee returned with 15 hours of volunteer time provided at Festival).

Vashon business storefront in zone (Chamber Member): Vashon businesses located within Festival Zone on Vashon Highway between Cove Road & 178th. Storefronts open during festival will have a 5’ opening in front of their location.

Vashon business storefront (Non-Chamber Member): Vashon businesses who are NOT members of the Vashon Island Chamber of Commerce. Storefronts in Festival Zone that are open during festival will have a 5’ opening in front of their location.

Vashon Chamber Member: Member businesses that are located outside of Festival Zone. (Does not include Vashon Food Trucks.)

Vashon Food Trucks: <25 feet. Fee is 6% of sales (not including sales tax and tips) recorded and paid daily Friday, Saturday, Sunday at close of business. $60 up-front non-refundable application fee is credited towards sales fee. Verifiable point of sale or register receipt required.

Vashon Youth Booth: Booth run by Island-based youth 18 years old or younger selling products or services created by youth. Does not include food or drink. Must be accompanied by adult.

CONSIDERATIONS:

Orders for vendor space will be accepted until June 1st, 2020.

Upon submission, your order will be reviewed by Vashon Chamber of Commerce staff, who will approve, reject, or modify your order. Upon approval of your order, your payment will be processed. Orders will not be confirmed until payment is received. You will be notified of any updates to your order.

Booth space assignments will be made prior to event and will be communicated via Chamber staff.

Requests for specific booth placement will be thoughtfully considered. Returning vendors' preferences will be acknowledged.

Vendor booth space orders do not include the booth structure, table, or chairs. Rental of booth structures, tables, and chairs are available at local merchants.

Food vendor spaces (food truck spaces excluded) include an additional space directly behind their vending space for cooking/grilling.

If your order includes two booth spaces, please indicate if you require side-by-side placement.
