Pride Northwest, Inc’s mission is to encourage and celebrate the positive diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans communities, and to assist in the education of all people through the development of activities that showcase the history, accomplishments, and talents of these communities. Through an array of programs and community partnerships, Pride Northwest shines a light on the rich history, noteworthy accomplishments, and extraordinary talents of those in our LGBTQIA2S+ communities. As the organizer of the Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade, we proudly present the grandest showcase of LGBTQIA2S+ artistry, culture, and community contributions in Oregon and SW Washington. Our aim is not only to pay homage to Pride's origins but also to forge ahead, taking meaningful actions that unite our community, strengthen our bonds, and empower positive change.
