About This Event

Bunnyfest is the annual open-air festival and fundraiser hosted by the San Diego House Rabbit Society (SDHRS). Activities include a silent auction, art social, mini educational lectures, games, children’s crafts and 50+ vendors selling bunny-themed merchandise & services.

San Diego House Rabbit Society discourages bringing unvaccinated house rabbits to Bunnyfest and any other outdoor events at this time. If you choose to bring your house rabbit to Bunnyfest, they must have a current vaccine against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus-2 (RHDV2) administered by a veterinarian. Please note that this is an outdoor event in a public place, and you will be solely responsible for any outcomes or injuries associated with the risks involved in bringing a house rabbit to said events, including but not limited to possible exposure to RHDV2, other illnesses and parasites, fleas and ticks, heat-related illness, loud and sudden noises, and the threat of other animals, including dogs, cats, and birds of prey. Liberty Station is in the flight path of a major airport, which can be loud and startling. Thank you for taking steps to protect your rabbit. To learn more about RHDV2 and measure you can take to keep rabbits safe, please visit SanDiegoRabbits.org/education/rhdv.

Bunnyfest will be held at Liberty Station, which is a popular tourist and local destination in San Diego.

Adding to cart and submitting payment, does not ensure a vendor space for this event.

SDHRS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds from Bunnyfest directly benefit SDHRS by furthering our mission of helping abandoned domestic rabbits through rescue, medical aid, adoption and community education. For more info about SDHRS, please visit www.sandiegorabbits.org.

In an effort to continue our goal of highlighting our Community partners and providing resources to the San Diego community, we will be limiting the booths for rescues to our shelter partners here in San Diego County. Also, due to our permitting restrictions with our event site, we do not permit onsite adoptions.
