Sacramento Pride Weekend events are produced by the Sacramento LGBT Community Center. Our mission is to create a region where LGBTQ+ people thrive. We work to support the health and wellness of the most marginalized, advocate for equity and justice, and building a culturally rich LGBTQ+ community.
Sacramento Pride reserves the right to refuse entry to applicants who do not align with our values or mission.
Sacramento Pride will not tolerate harassment, hate-speech, or aggression - refusal to cooperate with the event will result in immediate expulsion or withdrawal of approval to participate at no refund of fees.
Threats to safety of volunteers, guests, other exhibitors or event staff and security will not be tolerated and result in immediate expulsion from the event.
Sacramento Pride March and Festival will return to Sacramento’s Capitol Mall for a weekend of entertainment, education, and community. The two-day festival brings together 20,000+ community members to celebrate the colorful culture and community of Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ population. The festival grounds boast two festival entertainment stages, a youth focused entertainment space, dance areas, youth and family activities, hundreds of local vendors, food trucks, beverage stations with specialty cocktails as well as non-alcoholic drinks, and a 21+ VIP Lounge. One-day and two-day tickets are available, and are required for entry to the festival. Sac Pride’s three stages include: the Q-Spot Live youth stage, the 4th Street community stage, and the 5th Street Pride Stage – all hosted by Sacramento-favorite drag performers. Saturday’s lineup of entertainment will include incredible performances sourced from Sacramento’s creative economy, and conclude with a sunset showcase of the festival’s headlining acts. Sunday morning brings the most anticipated event of the weekend to life, the Sacramento Pride March, a parade beginning at South Side Park (where Sac Pride began!) and concluding at the California State Capitol building and entrance to the festival. Sac Pride March will bring 5,000+ spectators and is free to the public.
To apply for a contingent space at the Sac Pride March, please visit our other events here on EventHub.

WASTE MANAGEMENT AND REDUCTION POLICY:
Sustainability – Slash the Trash:
We aim to achieve dramatic environmental impact reductions across all aspects of the event including 50% landfill waste reduction from 2023. Please help, because “We Can’t Have Pride Without a Planet”.
• All vendors must “pack it in/pack it out & leave no trace” at your booth and leave it clean. But impact reduction is really about the plan and not just whose can, so start planning now to slash your complete 2024 environmental footprint!
• Think twice today before buying swag they’ll just throw away. Please consider everything you bring into the event to explore making it more sustainable - recyclable beats disposable, compostable beats recyclable, long-term reusable beats both, and reducing garbage in to avoid garbage out is best of all.
• Plastic pollutes when you make it AND trash it, so its footprint is doubly huge - what if your booth involved creative and memorable participative experiences with recycled materials, instead of imported logo swag that mostly ends up in the landfill within a week?
• Please do not bring glass, confetti, silly string, noisemakers that go bang, fake guns, helium balloons that can get loose, or anything else that might be dangerous or make a mess. If your tabletop will contain any paper signage or leaflets, bring weights or they will blow away. Please remove as much packaging waste as possible from any booth swag before bringing it on-site – you may NOT use attendee waste receptacles for your swag packaging.
• You must bring a trash can for your booth if you provide any swag or activity that might create on-site waste such as wrappers or sticker backs. Position the trash can clearly visible to booth visitors, and clean the wastes at least nightly.
• The event will offer 3-bin consumer level waste sorting this year, as required by the City. These are for your staff’s personal wastes only, not vendor booth wastes! Please ask staff to bring any outside food in reusable containers or paper wrappings to minimize what goes to landfill.
• We request that vendors remove their booth’s landfill waste from the site rather than using event dumpsters, but fill all the organic dumpster space you need!
• The dumpsters are located on 5th & N Streets, and Capitol & 3rd Streets. Please be courteous and help our tired volunteers by taking all booth trash with you, at least all the way to the dumpsters if not to your vehicle.
• If you see trash from a neighboring booth or you have a free hand on your way out to grab some you see – we really appreciate the help! Let’s keep Sacramento beautiful!
• Please bring your own water bottle and use the free water stations (located near beverage stations) instead of bringing disposable plastic bottles. Bottled water will be expensive on-site, with proceeds helping to further reduce the event’s impacts. Yes, free water for all, or buy it to help us be as proud of our footprints as we are of our colors.
Thank you for your support in making 2025 the most sustainable Sacramento Pride ever!
