About This Event

The Brews & Bites Festival is a fundraiser hosted by the City of Santee in partnership with the Santee Community Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides funding and advocacy for Santee's People, Parks, and Recreational Programs.

Brews & Bites Festival is a food and beverage sampling event where dozens of vendors interact with over 1,000 participants as they enjoy unlimited samples (while supplies last), listen to live music, and engage in various fundraising activities.

The City of Santee will provide vendors with:
- 10x10 space*
- Hand washing stations
- 3 compartment sink
- Dump bucket
- ABC License
- Two (2) Vendor Festival wristbands for staff working
- Business Sign to hang on the booth
- $250.00 stipend for food vendors (Alcohol and private business vendors are ineligible for this stipend)

*The City of Santee can provide you with a canopy, sidewall, 6' table, and tablecloth if requested.

Vendor Supplies:
- 10' x 10' Canopy + Sidewalls**
- Table + Tablecloth**
- minimum of 1,000 bite-sized samples or small-pour samples (4oz. beer, 1oz wine, 1/4 oz liquor)
- Equipment to pour beverages (i.e. jockey boxes, wine openers, etc.)
- Supplies to serve food (plates, trays, utensils, napkins, etc.)
- Staff to support food/beverage distribution (must be aged 21+)
- Declaration of for-profit food vendor (food vendors only)
- Health Permit (food vendors only)
- Temporary Event Food Facility - Event Day Reminder (Food vendors only)
- High-Quality jpeg or PNG company logo
- Additional promotional items to display at your booth that fit within your 10x10 space (e.g. banners, tablecloth, signs)


**Vendors can drop off materials early on Friday, October 17. Overnight security will be provided, at no charge. Canopies cannot exceed 10x10

Businesses that do not operate in the food/beverage industry may apply to participate; however, we require all applicants in this category to provide beverage sampling.

Special Notes

No on-site sales permitted. Electricity is not provided.
One vendor vehicle will be allowed to park in the event site, other vehicles may drive in to unload however they must park out in the parking lot once unloading is completed.

Two wristbands are provided for each vendor booth. If additional wristbands are needed, vendors may purchase online unless you need more than two staff to run the beverage booth.
